Behold the Lamb of God has been captivating audiences for 25 years as an annual Christmas tour by singer-songwriter Andrew Peterson (of “Is He Worthy?” fame). Each December, Peterson travels the United States with fellow musicians to present this programme about the “true tall tale of the coming of Christ” to packed auditoriums.

This December, Charismata singers are pleased to bring the choral rendition of this incredible advent cantata to New Zealand for the first time. The choir, under the direction of Lisbe Jooste, will start the show with a series of stunning choral Christmas anthems before being joined by a full contemporary band, hammered dulcimer and string quartet in the second half to present Peterson’s magnum opus about Jesus’ birth.

This is a unique opportunity to hear a powerfully moving Christmas classic live in New Zealand.
